RESERVATIONS
- You can request a reservation at Casa Del Leone via the internet (on our website) and email (info@casadelleone.it). Casa Del Leone will answer your reservation request in writing as soon as possible. As soon as an agreement has been reached about a reservation, this reservation is binding and legally valid. With your reservation confirmation, you will also receive the request from Casa Del Leone to pay the first deposit.
- If you first want to take an option on an apartment, you can, of course: this option is valid for a maximum of 3 days. Casa Del Leone will agree with you by email on the exact date the option will expire. Upon the option’s expiry, Casa Del Leone is entitled to make it available again without notice to the contrary.
PAYMENT TERMS
Within seven days after you have received a confirmation of your reservation request, you must pay 50% of the total rental amount (including final cleaning) in advance. Only when Casa Del Leone has received this deposit is your reservation final. You will always receive a confirmation by email that your deposit has been received well and that your reservation has become final.
Only up to two months before the agreed day of arrival, the remaining amount must be paid based on the second payment request that Casa Del Leone will send you by email.
- If you book within two months before the agreed day of arrival, you immediately pay the entire rent, including final cleaning (100%), to make the reservation final;
- The tenant owes, after approval of the reservation, the total amount of travel to Casa Del Leone, with due observance of the cancellation conditions;
- Upon arrival, Casa Del Leone will ask you for a cash deposit of € 100, -. This will be deducted from the final settlement at the end of the stay.
- In case of an earlier departure (than the agreed departure date when making the reservation), no refund will be given, and the cancellation policy of Casa Del Leone applies.
CANCELLATION
- In case of cancellation up to 2 months before the day of arrival, 50% of the total travel sum.
- In case of cancellation between 2 months and one month before the day of arrival, 75% of the total travel sum.
- In case of cancellation within one month before the day of arrival: 100% of the total travel sum.
- In case of cancellation, a refund of the amounts paid (or the provision of a so-called voucher) is unfortunately impossible. We, therefore, advise all tenants to take out good cancellation insurance (All Risk). In case of cancellation, the tenant can then claim a full refund of the rent. The reason for the cancellation must fall within the coverage area of the cancellation insurance.
- In the event of force majeure, such as a strike, (civil) war, a natural disaster, or terrorism, it will be examined in consultation with the tenant whether another holiday accommodation is available elsewhere or cancellation takes place.
LIABILITY
During your stay in the holiday home / in Casa Del Leone, you, as a tenant, are entirely liable for the rented holiday home, the furnishings, and all matters that belong to the rented property. Any damage must be reported immediately to the owner/Casa Del Leone. The costs of the damage can be recovered from your travel insurance. We advise you to close it before your holiday. Casa Del Leone accepts no responsibility in case of personal injury, loss, theft, or damage suffered by the tenant, including his company, however, caused.
COMPLAINTS AND APPLICATION OF LAW
We have carefully decorated and equipped Casa Del Leone’s rooms and common areas. If things are not to your liking, we would like to hear from you during your stay so we can discuss your complaint with you and solve any short-term complaints directly for you. Applicable law and competent court: These General Terms and Conditions and all agreements to which these General Terms and Conditions apply (or also apply) are exclusively governed by Italian law. Therefore, all disputes between the parties will be solely submitted to the competent court in Italy.
